Fiance involved in planning

My FH has helped with the big things like picking the venue and food, making the guest list, and he's offered to do the seating chart once our RSVP's are returned. I put him in charge of the DJ/music and the alcohol for the wedding; he drinks more than I do and knows more about it lol. All of the small details like our colors, flowers, place cards, place settings and decorations he didn't care about; which I was expecting. He told me to do what I want. If I ask him to help with something, or asking him is opinion, he'll help, but I agree with some previous posters when they said it's a guy thing to not be that involved.

He has given input on the most unexpected details lol.

Early on, he was vocal about not wanting a traditional plain ballroom reception (I 100% agreed with him)

Most recently, we were at our ceremony chapel and he goes "are we going to cover that floor?" It is a pretty ugly floor, but I was surprised that he cared so much about an aisle runner being used.

For the most part, he has been fine with whatever I want to do. He has been involved in choosing menu options and will go to the tasting with me. He also gave input on the guest list.

I do ask for his opinion on everything though.

Mine was somewhat involved, but he works a lot more than me and I'm a better planner. He went on all the venue tours, catering tastings & bakery tastings. He helped pick our officiant, photographer & videographer. He helped pick out the suits for the guys & himself. He picked out his groomsmen proposal boxes & helped me put them together, as well as the gifts for the groomsmen on the wedding day. He helped with some honeymoon decisions too. He also helped stamp & address our save the dates & invites.

Mine is! He lets me take the lead, but we have decided on pretty much everything together!
