Fiance doesn't understand matching concept

We are having a very rustic and casual wedding. Our colors are dusty rose, brown, white, and grey. He is wanting to wear jeans, a white dress shirt a darker grey vest and a teal tie with brown cowboy boots. His groomsmen are wearing the same shirt and jeans, brown shoes, brown leather suspenders and a dusty rose bow tie.



I'm okay with the real tie but I'm thinking it should have a casual pattern. The ties he's looking at are very formal and we know black and brown do not match.This is what he is looking at:

I should also add that originally he was actually picking out stuff like what I'm saying. I feel like he doesn't know what he wants and honestly he has a very difficult time understanding what people are saying.HELP!!I know it's his day too, and he should feel comfortable in what he's wearing, but... I feel like it's just not right.
