I guess its personal choice,my FH is exited but never wanted to come with me,we have been living together for 9yrs,so i do not believe in"is bad luck to see the bride" thing..i did not want him to come with me though because i want it to be a surprise..i want the "WOW" favtor ehen im walking fown the aisle..

I invited mine but my Dad needed some help so he didn't come. He's seen the dress before.

My dad went with my mom the first time she went dress shopping and helped pick the one she wore. 😁 I would have been fine with my FH going with me if he had been in town when I went.

Luck is only bad if you're superstitious. I don't believe in it si by default there is no such thing as good or bad luck. My fiance saying dress during the bridal shoot because he had to zip me up. If he wants to go and you want him there, then it's not wrong.

I’ve seen some brides have their fiancé there for their dress appointment, but then kick them out so they don’t see what the brides final dress decision is. You could always do that so he’s still surprised on your wedding day. However, if you’re not superstitious and you want him to help you decide, go for it!

This is a decision that you have to make. How much do you or do you not want your fiancé to see your dress? For me I'm very traditional so my FH has not and will not see my dress until I walk down the aisle. However, if youre ok with him seeing it that's ok too! I don't believe in the superstitions either way.

My FH went with me and some of my ladies. He watch dress after dress I tried on. I knew which dress I was picking but kept it under wraps. As round one was over, I asked him to wonder over to the bookstore while we made my decision. He got to experience dress shopping with me but has no idea which dress i chose.

It's totally your decision. This "tradition" started with arranged marriages. The parents didn't want the groom to see the bride until the wedding so he wouldn't back out. Now it's just become a silly superstition.

Honestly he wants to see me on the wedding day. He knew that wasn't his place to be anyway. My mom's opinion was the only one that mattered for picking out dresses.
