Fiancé asking groomsmen?

Carlie, on December 9, 2019 at 9:02 PM Posted in Planning 0 8
Did your fiancé’s ask their groomsmen in a special way? Mine still hasn’t asked/told his groomsmen they’re in the wedding and we’re 200 days away 😅

It was like pulling teeth with my Fiancé to ask his groomsmen. When he did, he just asked them. I was trying to get him to do something special but he is very simple and so are his groomsmen so they could care less that it wasn't some special way.

FH's best man is his dad so he just had a nice heart to heart conversation with him and asked him in person. The only groomsmen he has is my brother-in-law (my older sister's husband) and we went over to their house and he gave him a Yeti lowball cup and a loaf of my homemade banana bread (my brother-in-law LOVES it) and asked him that way Smiley xd

My FH asked his best man by getting down on one knee and asking him with his favorite beer Smiley xd

The rest of the groomsmen he asked over the course of a week or so in person.

FH asked each of them with a custom label on a bottle of jack! (Smart water for my brother because he's under 21 and it was a square bottle lol)

He just called and asked them. They were all happy and didn't expect any type of gift.

If he wanted to give them something, their favorite liquor is a great way to go.

My fiancé just asked all his friends in person very casual, but I am encouraging him to get them some type of gift by the time the wedding comes (also june 2020) so hes starting to think about that.

Mine was exactly the same way, ugh lol.

My mom ended up accidentally asking his brother for him - we had both of our families over for dinner and my mom asked if he was excited to be in the wedding (FH hadn't asked him yet). *facepalm*
