Super October 2019

fh will be away for three months!

Hey everyone, it’s been a while since I’ve been on WW! So, FH and I recently found out that he got the job that he applied for. This is his dream job and I am SO happy for him! I have to admit I’m a little sad, too. For his training requirements, he will have to be out of state for three months. Unfortunately this training is mandatory and (of course) runs through the wedding. They are at least letting him fly home on Friday, the wedding is Saturday, and he will have to return back to training the next day on a Sunday. I was really looking forward to our honeymoon, but we plan to push that until January instead of right after the wedding. It’s so bittersweet. I am so happy for him because I know this position is what he really wants. Anyway, he leaves soon in a month and he will be gone for three months. Luckily, we have most of our planning done and I won’t need much input lol. Is there anything we should definitely take care of before he leaves August 1st? Thanks everyone!

I think you are going to want more than day with him after you get married. Try to get that extended if at all possible!! What all do you have left to do? He has his tux already? You guys tasted cake together? Lots of thoughts. Lol .. congrats to you both but jeeze that's bitter sweet

I feel like it's the measurements of his tux or suit that I'd want to figure out and the rest if you can do by yourself is ok. Like if he doesn't care about the cake flavors or centerpieces or whatever else. My husband honestly didn't care about what was what he just wanted me to be happy with the choices I made

That’s definitely bittersweet, but congrats on him getting his dream job!
The one thing that comes to my mind is getting your marriage license. Every state has different requirements so I don’t know what yours are, but I know here we have to go together with ID and it’s only good for 60 days (if I remember right, maybe only 30).

Congratulations to you and your hubby, but yes the timing is not ideal. You're being so supportive, though, which is awesome! If all of your vendors food and registry are set, you should be in pretty good shape. I second marriage license, suit and will tack on belt and shoes.
