I agree with Cyndy! My FH has commented on how he doesn’t like mermaid gowns, but my dress is a mermaid gown. There’s a difference between your FH seeing it on someone else and you! I know FH will love my dress on me!

Your FH will love the dress because you are in it! And it is only for a night so its not a permanent thing he has to see besides pics in which he cares more about the full wedding then if he didn't like your sleeves! I wouldn't worry

Don't be its a beautiful gown and honestly he's going to think you're beautiful regardless

Most men have no idea what they actually like and don’t like as far as women’s clothes. They don’t get the concept that what looks awful on one woman will look fantastic on another, and vice versa. If you love your dress, so will he. I’ve never in my life heard of a groom hating his brides wedding gown, even if it’s been what he asked her not to get.

I wouldn't worry about it! My FH literally saw a dress similar material with a sparkly belt and was like "ugh the belt just throws everything off" ... mine has a belt haha But I know he'll love it once he sees mine!

I agree with everyone here. My husband has a particular idea of style amd sexy and let's just say it doesn't always match w mine. Funny story and I was petrified when he first told me, at his first wedding (we were both married before), he told his bride that she looked...ready? Nice. She looked nice. The girl spent 10k on that gown hahaha
Anyways when I was thinking of styles he'd like and trying to use that as my guide I stopped myself real fast. I have to feel gorgeous in my dress. Trying to please anyone else is just not an option especially after u fell in love and bought the dress.
Now my husband (we r doing a vow renewal/wedding) better come up w something more emotional than NICE next year haha

Yeah I agree with everyone here. Don't stress about it! He's going to love it because it's on YOU. My husband told me, shortly before the wedding, that he doesn't like the nude/tan/whatever color under lace (loves lace, just not a different color underneath). My dress is ivory over champagne. Well. He absolutely loved my dress, and when I brought his comment up to him later on, not only did he not remember even saying it, but he also said turns out he was wrong. Lol. As PP said, men don't really know what they like and don't like about women's fashion until they see it on their woman, and they especially don't know wedding dresses.
