fh & i not agreeing on first dance songs

I feel like if one of you isn't on board with the song then it should be eliminated as a contender: so both the Elton John and your 3 songs should be removed from the list.

Why don't the 2 of you make a separate list of 10 songs each that you would consider. Then, swap lists and listen to your partners songs and eliminate the ones that you are absolutely opposed to. Once you've each done that, have a look at what's left together and make a decision. You still have lots of time and could come up with a great list.

Anna has a great idea there! I agree that you should both enjoy the song you're going to dance to! Me and my FH have several songs we consider to be "ours" and it's still hard to decide. I want romance all the way but luckily so does he. We're currently stuck between two songs but I think it'll be fine. Can you feel the love tonight might be a little cliche but if you can both agree that you'd enjoy it, who cares? It sounds like you don't want that though, so just tell him so.

I agree that you should both be on board with the song you choose. We will be doing our first dance to a cover of "Love Me Tender" by Nagi and Ya Ou. Classic song with amazing voices! FH and I don't have "a song" either. He was fine with whatever song I preferred.

I love a song called " Once in a Lifetime" By Landon Austin. Though its not our first dance song ( You and Me - David Crowder Band is) its very romantic and unique. We had the opposite problem and had 3-4 songs we love - so we are incorporating those in as slow songs throughout the night so we still get to dance to them together. I would agree with the above options. Remove both options from the first dance list but add to a must play list and start fresh - we also listened to Spotify discovery love songs and found options that we had never heard but work as beautiful first dance songs!
