Few Bookings Thanks to covid Postponements

Is anyone else having trouble finding a venue that's not already booked up for 2022? So many venues we're talking to won't give tours until the spring or later after they've helped 2021 couples postpone their weddings, or they already have all their summer Saturdays in 2022 taken. Is anyone else having trouble finding a venue that's not already booked up for 2022? So many venues we're talking to won't give tours until the spring or later after they've helped 2021 couples postpone their weddings, or they already have all their summer Saturdays in 2022 taken. Starting to get worried we won't be able to get a date even though we're planning far in advance.

    What I ended.up doing was choosing a Sunday on a three day wedding. Smiley smile

    Depending on what you or your family does for a living you could always do the wedding on an off date I planned a wedding for a couple that got married on a Monday because they all worked in hospitality. The added benefit of that is they got a discount on the venue and all of their vendors because it was an off day. But for them it was perfect because in hospitality normal days off are usually Monday or Tuesday.

    Yes girl! I got engaged October of this year and would have loved to get married in fall of 2022 but everything is booked. It’s so disheartening

    We had the same issue, but got engaged last October and were hoping to get married this October. We found 1 venue with a date we liked, but that was so hard to get that we didn't think we'd be able to find any other vendors that we wanted. So we waited another year.

    We ended up finding all our vendors for next August! We might just need to rent a tent and a dance floor but we managed to find a venue shortly after I posted this then we booked everything else. Smiley smile
