Feet issues

Jessica, on July 21, 2019 at 1:27 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 13
So I have Plantar fasciitis in both feetsies AND am recovering from fusion surgery to repair a Lisfranc fracture in my right midfoot.

So I've decided to wear Birkenstocks with a slight wedge for the reception. I want... No I NEED to be comfy and have support for my feets.

Here they are! What ways are YOU putting your comfort first????

I love Birkenstocks! They're so comfy and cute. I'm opting for flats instead of heels!

Awesome 🙂 I'm gonna get my Birkies soon so I can break them in!

What do your flats look like?

I have High arches and have had several foot surgeries. I will be wearing Toms as I need to be comfortable all day and I refuse To subject myself to heels.

I think they're nice. And you should definitely be comfy considering you'll be standing most of the time

I'll be taking my shoes off immediately after the ceremony and putting on my sneakers. I got bad feet and while I could wear the shoes I'd rather not.

I haven't decided whether I'll use Vionic inserts in a pair of shoes or if I'll wear othotic shoes made by Vionic since inserts are necessary for me when walking/standing for any length of time.
I can't wear heels, the arthritis in my knees is too bad, but I'm still kinda bummed about it. I always envisioned my day with a cute pair of heels.
These Birkenstocks are really cute, I might look there!

I too have high arches. Do you find that Tom's have enough support in the arches?

I just had surgery on my feet a few months ago and need arch support as well so I am opting for a cute sandal with barely a heel and found these gel type of bands with the cushion support so I can wear them with the sandals I want. You can barely see it on.

I have a pair of white wedge sandals that I am possibly going to wear - the only problem is that my feet swell and the straps across my foot get tight. I ordered a pair of DREAM gold wedges from Amazon, I love the DREAM line and they are super comfy. I just need to make sure they look good with my dress.
