FH is private contractor whose business partner owns several properties. We've been trying to find a house to rent for suuper cheap without living in the danger zone so that we can save up for a down payment. Today, his partner told him that one of his tenants will be moving out around the same time our current lease is up. It's a 3 bedroom house with a huge backyard for our dog and he said he could go as low as $1,000 for rent in such a safe little neighborhood 
That plus all of the financial support we've had for our wedding, everything feels like it's just coming together and I'm so happy!
