Feeling naked without my ring!

Well today I went to the jewelry store to get six prongs for my ring instead of the original 4 it came with. They said it could take up to 10 days! Also is was $191.00 to do this! Why is it so expensive to put my diamond in another head? It's not like I lost the head and needed a completely new one! Anyway I was a little disappointed at the cost but mostly because I feel naked without my ring. Hoping these 10 days go by fast! Rant over =)

My ring has been at the jeweler for over a month now (they're copying some of the engraving work on my engagement ring to match my wedding ring).

My suggestion is to wear a placeholder ring! I also feel naked without mine but this helped. And then when your gorgeous engagement ring comes back, you'll appreciate it even more.

Wow a month?! That stinks! You're right, I will appreciate it more, thanks! Tried getting the FH to get me a "replacement ring" for the mean time...needless to say it didn't work!

I have a place holder ring and watch I keep at work just in case i leave the house without either. I have a gnarly watch tan-like it looks like I'm wearing a watch when I'm not gnarly and I'm starting to develop a ring tan now. The watch is a $10 Target watch and the ring is from Etsy.

Yeah it'll be worth it once I get it back! My mom told me she's lost her diamond twice when she only had 4 so I constantly look down at mine all the time to make sure it's still there lol. At least I'll feel a little bit better knowing there's 6

I feel ya! I got sizing beads put in and I've felt weird. I only had to wait 3 days. I pick it up tomorrow. Still feels weird!

Wow! I couldn't, luckily he knew the size and I didn't have to take it in for anything so I haven't gone without it!
