Feeling Hopeless!

Sunni, on June 29, 2019 at 9:24 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 18

Ok I need some help! I do not want to spend a ton as I don't want to start my new life in debt but I really want an outdoor wedding anywhere between Rochester, NH - Bridgton, ME any suggestions? Sept 2020 am struggling very much to find a location!

    Usually parks should be cheaper!

Parks are cheaper but then you don’t have a plan b for rain. Have you thought of doing a Sunday brunch wedding? Maybe you can find a garden? If you do it November you may hit the off season for weddings to make it even cheaper. Just not sure how cold it will be.

Doing a Sunday September wedding here. Got an amazing deal on the venue due to it being a Sunday.

Have you tried reaching out to any of the ski resorts up there? You can probably get a great deal because it's after summer break but before ski season. Take the lift to top of attitash/cranmore/wildcat and have a mountain top ceremony. If the food at the resorts isn't great, head to a restaurant in town for the reception.

I agree going with the park route. Or what about a lakefront? I’ve been to a wedding at Point Sebago before.

I don’t know how big of a wedding you want but what about a restaurant that has an even space or a big room. Maybe you can find a restaurant with views or an outdoor patio to get married on. Or elks lodge or vfw halls are usually a lot cheaper to rent out.

Is that your total budget? Or just the venue rental?

I would look into local parks for the ceremony and then a VFW or Elks lodge for the reception.

Careful with food. A lot of venues will only allow certain caterers. If something happens food is served at wrong temp and people get food poisoning the venues the one that gets the. As reviews and possibly sued.
