Feeling dress regret - is that normal?

I think those feelings are normal, but the dress is pretty and you look AMAZING in it!

I think it’s beautiful! If you truly desire to change the look of it, you can always have them put on different straps or sleeves

Ah, Christine! You are NOT alone 💞I’ve had my dress for a while now since we had to postpone a few times and I feel like I’ve lost countless hours of sleep lol. I never felt “that feeling” in all the dresses I was trying on, but I picked mine because as silly as it sounds, I felt bad leaving it at the shop 😝 My consultant wasn’t the best and I felt like there was a ticking clock since it was a trunk show that only lasted through the weekend. Not the fairy tale wedding dress story you think you’re supposed to have. Of course when it came, it was huge on top and felt so wrong. Alterations have made it a bit better but I just got over my deep doubts (1+ Year later). I realized after all this time, there are SO MANY beautiful dresses out there! Like honestly, who gave the bridal industry permission to just keep slinging stunning dress after stunning dress. It makes it so tough to choose! Finding THE ONE I personally think is impossible. Especially for as pretty as you are! Everything would look good. I think the dress looks beautiful on you and if it doesn’t feel right, certainly acknowledge those feelings but tbh I think there may always be “another dress” in a sense. Trust your gut! Even if you don’t know what it’s saying in the moment lol. What helped me is finding pictures of other brides Similar to how I pictured myself that day and then playing around with accessories, etc. to make me feel like I made the right choice.

Beautiful lady, if you are having doubts about your choice in dress... then it is NOT NOT the one. You will be without a doubt when you have chosen the right one. You will feel it in your heart, body, and soul. When you put your dress on your heart will skip a beat and you will have that feeling EVERY TIME you try it on. Alot of ladies don't take enough time to try on dresses and then walk away, then come back at a later date and try on dresses again, at least 4 separate occasions before committing to the dress that is the one. They usually feel rushed and overwhelmed instead of enjoying their time. This is the most important dress you will wear. And if you don't have that undeniable spark you will regret it. Don't settle.

First let me say the dress is beautiful on you! However, the first dress that I liked and got family approval on and dad was ready to make the down payment on I had a nightmare and knew that wasn’t the one. I kept looking and I found my dress. I cried over it and I didn’t want to come out of it even with it being 2 sizes too small. So if you’re having second thoughts keep looking.

FOMO is normal! Trust your gut you made the right decision.

i think especially when you look at other dresses or feel like something is missing with the one you chose, it'll make you doubt it

What is the regret about? What’s making you feel this way? Be honest. I think it looks great on you but I’m not the one wearing it and actually had my own dress regret and bought a different dress.
