Feeling a bit distant from family and friends

I have been engaged 14months and now that i’m 122 days out I feel like some family and friends are more distant than usual.. they don’t check up see how’s wedding planning going, nothing. Sent out my save the dates 2 weeks ago very few people seem excited, others I haven’t heard from. Is it normal to get a text or a call when they receive their save the date? maybe to say thanks or show their excitement? maybe i’m just overthinking... I understand wedding planning is my life right now but it’s not everyone else’s that could be why idk. Just feeling like the next couple weeks i’ll continue to plan the finishing touches alone and see who reaches out to me. Kinda wishing I had went away and got married by ourselves now😩😩 I hope the way I feel is just a phase that will pass...

I found that people are getting more excited now that we've sent out the invitations and are starting to get rsvps. People will remind you that no one else will be as excited for your wedding as you and your partner, but it does suck sometimes when you just want to show off some planning thing or be excited over a milestone. You can always come here for that! Also definitely a phase- once you get under the hundred day mark things start feeling more real.

My STD had very little response. I hoped for comments about pictures but it was crickets. I know I’m obsessed with it. But realize that other people, it’s just a day.

Date twins! When we sent our save the dates we had a few people send us pictures saying they were excited, but not many. These people were mainly people who are/were also getting married and had recently sent us their save the date or invite. I wouldn't worry about it too much! People will get more excited as the date gets closer.

Almost no response from our STD. My family has been kind of rude about it honestly, but they are like that anyway. I'm just focusing on me and my FH.

Truthfully I have never responded to a STD. It goes on my fridge until the actual invite comes, then it hits the trash.
