The panhandle will be too cold for an outdoor ceremony in February. And honestly probably march too

We chose March because it tends to be a little warmer than February. We are getting married on St. Pete Beach.

St Pete, siesta key or St Augstine are all beautiful. March is better than february, lots of cold snaps in February.

Winter was a joke this past year but February might be cold depending on where you are in the state. March is the beginning of the rainy season and the chances of getting suddenly rained out with very little warning are pretty high... I'd go with a ceremony time while the sun is still up (4pm?) in February before risking rain in March.

I live in SW Florida and am having an outdoor wedding in February. I will say it got a tad chilly for us Floridians this February but we had a few rain storms in March along with some chilly days. I'd say it's hit or miss. It's impossible to know with Florida's ever changing weather.

It really depends on the year. Last March, we had a random cold snap in Orlando. It was 40 degrees mid-March. My poor students had to celebrate their field day in thick jackets and gloves.

I'm about an hour south of St. Pete. Here Feb. can be cool, especially on the beach if the wind is coming out of the north. I'd probably suggest March.

Also, our rainy season doesn't start until mid-June (although this year it was about a week early, but that was OK since we had been in a drought).

In south Florida, we have had about 1 day of winter in the last 2 years. So either works here.

I'd also recommend March. I'm in the St. Pete area and got married in November on the beach (Grand Plaza Resort) and the weather was gorgeous!

We picked March for ours at Sunken Gardens in St. Pete- in part because we figured the weather would be better, but I'm not going to lie, I work for the school system, so getting to use spring break for the honeymoon was a factor too.

That's something you may want to keep in mind though since you're considering getting married on the beach- March will be busy with spring breakers between college students from all over and the local school districts.

I'd go with March but we had our cold days in march this year with some weird rain so it's a 50/50 chance.

Spring break for most locals start in April. You may have college and some seasonal residents still down in march.

I frequent St. Pete Beach and I would recommend March over February. Many days in Feb are very nice, but you can get some really chilly days especially by the water. March is much more predictable.

I'd go with March. The weather is always a mixed bag in Florida, but I think you'll be ok if you do it then.

I chose end of Feb for my outdoor central FL wedding because it historically has a slightly lower chance of rain and travel and accommodations are much cheaper

If you do any beaches from the panhandle to Tampa, March may be better as we get cold snaps.

Florida is so bipolar so I'd recommend March. Also, you need to hurry & book your venue. March is a very popular month to get married here.
