February 2020 Brides

Hi Ladies! When are you all planning on sending out invitations? I'm struggling with when the best time would be. I was hoping to avoid December all together, but everything online I've seen is saying November is too early. With Thanksgiving being late this month, I was thinking it might be ok to send them out before Thanksgiving. I just don't want them getting forgotten about in the holiday rush. Wedding is 2/8/20 and RSVP date is 1/8/20. Thank you!

In getting married 2/15/2020 and I’ve already sent mine! Most of my guests are coming from out of town so I wanted to give them plenty of time to respond. If you don’t want to send them till later I would say latest would be first week of December

I'm sort of antsy to send them out anyway lol so I was thinking, maybe, next Monday/Tuesday that way we have some buffer time before Thanksgiving..then another break between then & Christmas!

Are you getting replies already? We have guests coming from 2-3 hours away, so that was another part of my logic as well. I'm thinking I may as well just send them! Being that Friday is 3 months, 2 til RSVP.

We're getting married 02/23/2020 and I plan on sending them out at the very beginning of January, if not right after Christmas.

My wedding is 2/2 and we’ve actually sent ours out already. The reason we decided to send them out so early is because we’re having a destination wedding, so people pretty much already know if they’re going or not. I need to have our final number a month ahead of time, so I wanted to make sure our invitations didn’t get lost in the holiday shuffle. So while I have my rsvp date as mid-December, there’s a fair amount of buffer time for late responses and for me to not have to stress over collecting rsvps over Christmas.

Ours is 2/28 and I sent our invitations about 2 months ago. We sent them super early because it's a destination wedding, so I needed to give everyone enough time to take off of work. Plus, my prerogative was getting affordable plane tickets for everyone.

Our wedding is 2/20/20 and we sent out our invites about two months ago because we have a large amount of guests that have to travel.

My wedding is 2/29/2020 and we're sending out invites next week. It's earlier than I'd like, but this way it won't get jumbled up with holiday mail delays and whatnot. The RSVP deadline is in the middle of January.

We're getting married on Leap Day, and I'll be sending the invitations out on 1/2. I didn't want to send them out in December, and most people don't know what their availability is like 3 months out (the reason I didn't want to do them in November either). Our RSVP date (which is fairly flexible since a long distance family member is the caterer) is 1/24 so that gives people 3 weeks to RSVP. I'm trying to have all the final numbers in on 1/31.
