Favors

Tnt, on January 19, 2020 at 5:16 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 10
We are having a small intimate wedding. 2nd time for both of us, and we have already been together 13 years. We have invited less than 40 people, mostly close family at a local restaurant for a brunch in July. Is it expected we do favors? We really don't want to. We would rather send wedding pictures with thank you notes. What do you all think?

Favors are not necessary and won’t be missed. I’d use your money on something more important.

Definitely not necessary. I personally think they are a waste of money

Favors overall have fallen out of fashion. No one really cares about them.

Favors aren't necessary. But since were doing the domestic destination wedding, we are providing guests with favors (actually 3 different favors 🤦🏽‍♀️ because each one is also being used as part of the table setting decor at each seat)

However, if you choose to do favors, make sure it’s either something edible or that they’ll actually like/use. In our case, one is a mini champagne bottle, the other is special boxed chocolates and the third is each guests’ name laser cut out of wood at their place setting to serve as a placecard.

Favors are not necessary and are often just left behind. You absolutely don’t have to have them, so if you don’t want them don’t. They won’t be missed.

On Etsy there's inexpensive wood magnets that say thank you for coming to our wedding. I thought about getting them, but we are going to mail magnets that introduces us as a couple once we get our wedding pictures back.

Favors are optional. We decided to do chocolate covered pretzels as favors.
