I don't think it's a big deal to use items or favors with the old date. If we have to change our date, we're definitely not planning on repurchasing everything.

I totally understand! But there's just no way I can justify throwing money away like that. If people have a problem with it, then they don't have to take one. Realistically though, I think it's unlikely people will notice and if they do then I'm sure they'll be understanding that it's another casualty of the pandemic.

I don't think it's a big deal at all, especially with what is going on. Everyone should understand, and who cares if they don't. They are getting a free treat. You could even have a funny sign or something by the favors and make a joke out of it.
