Favors?

Guys, I feel bad, but I don't want to spend money on wedding favors. Is skipping out on favors considered taboo or rude? I feel like most people are just going to forget the favors or throw them away. Its like, we're feeding them, we're hosting a party, do they really need more stuff? Am I being too...

Not at all. They aren't necessary unless you want them. I may not do them, and if I do they'll be something edible. Probably mini apple pies

We're doing flying keys by getting skeleton key bottle openers and adding wings to them. I'm also going to put a few snitches on the tables (lindor truffles with silver wings attached).

Girl. Skip them! Save that money honey!

Focus on showing them a good time and great party and forget the favors!

I've been flip flopping on this seeing we are just inviting family... we are already going to be feeding them, have a sweets bar, we will have games... I don't think they will care if we pass on gifting them some mints or flowers to plant... I just think to myself, would I really be upset if I didn't get a favor that has other people's name and wedding date on it? lol I would say PASS!

Favors are strictly optional Edibles are always taken. Others often left behind. We were not doing them, planning instead to have sweet treats for every guest room. MIL insisted, and she and other relatives made candy: dipped chocolates, molasses candy , butter crunch, fudge, and coconut and caramel candies all from scratch. Which people took back to their rooms. So, were they favors or guest room treats for the weekend? We did one of them.

We're skipping favors and making donations instead to charities. Each of the 10 tables will have a different charity and what they mean to us as a couple.

No one will likely notice if you don't have favors. Skip them!

Skip it ! We are actually making our favors and Itis fun but like if we weren’t handy and having fun we would skip it. But I seen a couple do flip flops as a favor like dancing shoes! And it was really cute. Can get in bulk from amazon

The last wedding I went to did not have favors, and I did not even realize it until just now lol. No one cares about wedding favors. Save your money.

Honestly no one will miss the favors. I have never used a favor from any of the weddings I’ve been to and I’m not planning on giving favors for my wedding. I would focus on making sure the atmosphere, food, drinks, and music are on point.

Favors are not necessary at all and unless it’s edible I would probably leave it behind myself😂

Hey not really i completely understand some do ask but some don’t care. But you can try a small clear type bag like that hold chocolate lollipops you can either make the lollipops or make some truffle put them inside tie it with a ribbon and if you have extra... I got some thanks you tags on wish.com it’s cheap only cost me 3 dollars and got 100 mini thank you tags pretty cute. If you need to know how to make truffles or chocolate heart shape lollipops gladly can help. Hope this help... make it an extra bride and Bridemaid day have some wine hear some music and make chocolate lollipops
