Favors

So my fiance and I are doing coffee grounds as our wedding favors and I just don't know what coffee to choose I don't want to do the basic Maxwell house or folgers. Does anyone have any experience with this? And if so how did you go about choosing what coffee to use? Please and thank you Smiley smile

My FH is a huge coffee snob and loves Volcanica coffee as it's affordable while still being very high quality! That's about all I know but hopefully it helps!

I found the best coffee comes from the little shops that arent super well known. We have one here that made it on a best coffee list its called black owl café. Call around to ur local small businesses they might cut you a deal for a bulk order!

Definitely agree with trying little coffee shops, they tend to have the best coffee. Might make for some fun dates for you and your FH! Maybe try the coffee shops in the town or city your wedding is in so the guests that aren’t local go home with something special to the area!

I would get something locally made from wherever you’re having your wedding!

Yeah I’d definitely look into some local shops! They tend to have the best coffee anyways, plus it would be nice to give people (especially out of towners) something they can’t just get anywhere

Personally I would use your favorite coffee. My FH and I love a Coffee from a local roaster so I would choose that. If you don’t have one maybe check out some local coffee shops and find one or a couple you both love and use that.

If you are doing it yourselves I'd pick a medium blend coffee like Starbucks or Seattle's best. Something decent but that you can grab on sale at stores or in bulk online.

I would contact some local shops and see if you're doing a bulk order for a wedding what deals they would make for you.

May I ask what you're doing for containers/presentation? Great idea, I'm really intrigued!!

And I'd second a local, small business roaster, rather than a large chain Smiley smile

Either a burlap bag with a cute coffee saying on it or a paper bag that shows the beans with a golden tablespoon 😊 were coffee lovers so we felt coffee was the way to go lol. I heard a lot of people doing donuts too which I thought was cool

There are sites where you can make your own and get it packed cute and everything. My friend did it for her wedding favors and it was so cute. It said “the perfect blend”

You could also do a coffee that represents your home state or the place you are getting married! Like if I was doing for my home state I would do a maple coffee to represent it!
