What is your favorite detail of your ring? Is it the stone shape? Metal color? Stone color? Or is it the history of the ring itself? I'm curious! I was looking at my semi hidden pink stones today and thinking how much I love that he incorporated pink and made me wonder what the rest of WW obsessed...

I love the spiral band of mine 😊 I prefer delicate jewelry and the spiral makes it unique.

My favorite part though is that he picked it out all by himself 🥰 he bought it from the jewelry store my sister is a salesperson at, and she was convinced I’d want something else, but I absolutely love this one and I’m so glad he told her no (she showed me the one she wanted him to get 😂)

My favorite is that mine is filled! The entire band is filled with diamonds. In between the diamonds on the band are smaller ones. It's such a small detail but I absolutely love my ring! My fiance' and I have been together over 5 years and definitely spoiled me with it and it was such a surprise!

I LOVE the diamonds on your prongs. This is just like the #1 ring I had picked out but when FH went to buy it (from another jewelry store that is owned by a friend), they wouldn’t sell it to him. Smiley sad They told him our lifestyles are too active and those prong diamonds are too susceptible to becoming loose and falling out. Make sure you get it inspected regularly.

I cant get a good picture but I love the side view and the tiny diamonds around the crown. I also love the milfrain detail and how the diamonds on the band get larger as they lead up to the center stone.

I love your ring! MY favourite diamonds are the old European cut diamonds.. like your centre stone. They have such a unique sparkle from their chunky facets!

Blown away by such pretty ring details... lucky ladies!

I have many favourite details on e-ring!

    1. I love that It is designed from scratch by me and my FH. It's custom-made, with our story woven into it. because as designers, we wanted to create our e-ring ring with personal meaning.

    2. We designed our ring using antique Old European cut Diamonds and had them set in Platinum. The Diamonds were sourced from an Art Deco ring, found after searching for 14 months! trust me, ladies, that was a hard 14 months to wait!!!

    3. Each stone is hand-cut and polished in the 19th century by a diamond bruter (an old school artist who cut diamonds using gaslight, before electricity!). They're super-sparkly and really shimmer, especially in low light!!

    4. We also wanted diamonds that were not machine-made/laser cut, and created from the old 19th C diamond mines. After this time, the South African mines were found (which most modern diamonds come). S.African diamonds are controlled by De Beers diamond company. Because they do not come from De Beer mines, my ring is ethical 100% conflict-free ring, with no risk of being blood diamonds, which is important to us.

5 There are 10 smaller diamonds, each one growing in size, for each year we’ve been together (10), and of our relationship deepening. The ring’s shape echoes the old Victorian crossover' ring shape, with the two rows of diamonds symbolising two individuals, joined in the centre by love (the larger diamond)

    6. Finally, we called her Andromeda, because she looked like a galaxy as she curves around my finger; we both love stargazing. Sorry, we're shameless star-struck romantics!!

💗 Though our ring may not look like modern rings, and may not be to everyone’s taste, we love that it is a unique one-of-a-kind, and timeless.

Meet Andromeda, our one-of-a-kind ring Smiley diamond

Your ring is absolutely beautiful! Picking one thing is so hard! I am completely infatuated with every detail of my rings. I love how it has the pave diamonds on all three sides of the band, I love the center stone shape, and I am so floored that my FH took so much time researching and finding the perfect center stone. On my wedding band, I love how the black diamonds compliment the rose gold metal and how the vine like strands create a beautiful frame for the center stone on my e-ring.

Your ring is just so sophisticated in its simplicity, and engaging because of its history 💖

BTW, I LOVE seed prongs - they enable the ring to show off the stone's shape and sparkle. Mine also has seed prongs - they dont catch on anything either!

    Lush ring, lady!

Thank you! I definitely prefer the old European cut diamonds. They're a little more subtle than the modern brilliant cut. I didn't want a disco ball on my finger haha.

I thought so too, to the point that when I first chose my diamonds from the art deco ring we sourced, | was a wee bit disappointed that it didn't shine as much as a modern diamond.

I had to discard my disappointment when I received the finished piece! in its new setting (which we designed to be minimalist, to allow loads of light in), and with a clean: WOW.

She now outshines all of the modern brilliants e-rings I've seen. Because of her OEC diamonds big chunky facets, she displays high voltage sparkle and fire.

To be honest, I've had her for 6 weeks, I've been a bit embarrassed on several occasions with the way she stands out because of the sparkle. An unexpected disco ball!

LOVE LOVE LOVE !!!!!!!! timeless! I love how it has that "cuteness" but in a very bold and luxuriously glam classiness Smiley smile reminds me of rings some of my favorite noir film stars would have worn! so feminine and definitely makes a statement Smiley smile) haters always gonna hate, and be envious !

I love the simplicity of my ring and that it’s different than what’s on trend these days. It was a team effort picking it out between my fiancé and I Smiley smile

Thank you! Your ring is amazing - truly unique! I love the story behind it and thought that went into it. Will you be doing a wedding band? If so, what are you thinking?

Thank you! And wow, you described that so beautifully! You are quite the word Smith! It is true that every time someone who knows me sees the ring, their comments are "oh my God, it's beautiful! And so you!". My FMIL was saying it really reflects who I am and that she felt it tied in my European background extremely well. My FH is completely head over heels with it as well which I find so sweet. I can't wait to marry him!

My FH was worried about that too! He almost didn't buy it but we agreed I could pick out the setting and he could pick out the stone so he did. Every few months he asks "have any diamonds fallen out yet?" Haha.
