Favorite Personalized Items!

My personal favorite is my getting ready zip hoodie

I spent more than I care to admit on Etsy purchases for my wedding! A few of my favorites from that site include: our invitations, lightweight hoodies for my bridesmaids, wooden vow books, and a wooden hashtag sign.

I absolutely love items that are unique to the couples! For that reason, most of our wedding is custom. I will have two dresses – both of them designed by me and custom made. I also designed the headpiece I am wearing, and 4 of my rings (engagement ring, enhancer, wedding ring, and a right hand ring with my dogs’ birthstones in it). I also designed and had made linen napkins for each guest’s table setting, I designed our guest book sign with a drawing of our beloved dog, and had funny bev naps printed.

I indulged in personalized cocktail napkins "Mr. and Mrs. X, our date". For the most part, I was able to bypass the beautiful Etsy rabbit hole. My husband laughs that I'm willing to deal in thousands but refuses to pay $12 shipping (again).

Other than my wedding ring (thank you Etsy gods) our wedding cake topper was my favourite personalised item from Etsy.

Our names + the date within the little love heart. It was super fragile though and whilst it survived the day it did not survive the packing up so I ended up having to throw it out as it was beyond reasonable salvaging!

This what I was telling my daughter who is getting into this type of career event planning. But I am doing to do that with my vases

We have a university nearby that has a hobby room with sewing, robot kits and 3D printers. With the 3D printers, we might be able to make our own topper and some other items.

Ironically, I didn’t have anything that was personalized now that I’m thinking about it. I would have to say my shoes. I really enjoyed working on those and I’m super sad our photographer didn’t get a good picture of them.
