Favor suggestions!

Hilenny, on April 13, 2020 at 4:55 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 15

My wedding is not till next summer but I am having some difficulty finding a favor that I like. I've considered doing a food truck but the person never got back to me.

- What were your favors for your wedding?

-Please any ideas are welcome!

We are not doing favors at all. You could do a photo booth and the photo strips could double as favors.

We aren’t doing favors—we would rather spend that $$ elsewhere.

We are doing small bags of different flavors of popcorn. The sticker on the bag says "thanks for popping to help us celebrate." Then for the flavors of popcorn we are doing regular/ salted, cheddar cheese and caramel.

We’ll be doing a box of Hershey’s kisses and hugs and a note saying “in lieu of favors, we have made a donation in your honor to XXXX animal shelter.” Smiley smile

Feel free to skip, not necessary. But if you WANT to offer a favor, edible is usually best or will get left behind. Cake pop, cookie, candy bar, etc.

Haven't been 100% set on doing a favor yet, but I found these cute candles set in wood slices that I might give out. Goes well with our rustic winter theme

I’m having these made for drinks at our low key, nonalcoholic reception with the intent for them to double as favors. It’s something that actually has a purpose. My family and some of my friends have odd collections of these types of cups from various events (like Kona icees, ballparks, etc.). And plus whatever are left over are fine to be used in our home for years to come.

FH and I have been spending a lot of the Quarantine playing cards which gave us the idea to make custom decks with our names/date as favors.

When it comes to favors, edible is definitely the way to go! From my perspective as a guest, an edible favor is always the most appreciated. Tons of options such as candy, cookies, popcorn, donuts, mints, chocolate, cake pops, mason jar treats, hot chocolate mix, etc. When the favors are edible, I always enjoy them, and when they're not, I usually forget to take one or leave it behind.

Thank you all for your suggestions.

Edible seems to be the way to go!!!
I had actually gone to wedding where she gave coasters and she ended up having to take a lot of them home. *yikes.
I was leaning towards edibles. I might just stick to edibles!! Thanks again!!

We are doing custom cups from totally promotional, they have a lot of options. We are also doing a photo booth for our guest book and the guests get to keep the second photo strip.
