Father’s Attire

Our fathers have been asking us what WE want them to wear, that they want everything to be the way we’ve always imagined. Our groomsmen are wearing white shirt, tan vest, dark jeans, cowboy boots - with a light pink tie. My FH will be in a different color tie. Should our fathers also wear vests? Should they match the groomsmen/groom? Just looking for some suggestions, I cant find many photos online to see what them the same/different would look like.

It depends on what kind of look you want to go for. I went to a wedding with a similar style recently and the fathers dressed similarly to the groomsmen.

Like PP mentioned, this comes down to what you're wanting as far as looks go. I've been to weddings where the fathers matched the groomsmen, others where they looked similar, and others where they didn't wear anything similar to the groomsmen (different color suit etc.).
I don't think you can go wrong with either keeping them the same color as the gm, nor with having them wear a different color.

Depends on the look you want. We are letting our fathers wear whatever they want as long ad it's business casual.

You could have them wear ties that have your wedding colors? Not necessarily matching the groomsmen attire but matching the color scheme.

It's totally up to you! You could have them also wear vests and dark jeans, or a different colored tie than the groomsmen. Or you could just tell them to dress casually and not wear a jacket!

We had close to that for our wedding! Jeans, whit button up, grey vest and pink ties. So I had our father in laws wear the button ups but no vest, and they got a tie to match the groomsmen vests so a grey tie to match! Hope that helps!

Every wedding I've been to, the fathers wore nice suits they already owned in the same colors as the groom/smen. They have a boutonierre to identify them as parents.
