I'm so happy I found the perfect father/daughter song, and it is something I haven't heard played at a wedding for a father/daughter dance, I have been looking for a good song for me and my dad to dance to that really doesn't get played much. Everyone always does their father daughter dance to that butterfly Kisses song yes its cute but way over played for father daughter dances at weddings no offense to anyone who is going with that song. The songs called stealing Cinderella by Chuck Wicks. It's a tear jerker and cute just like the butterfly Kisses.

Oh my god girl. Yes!! 😭 I love it. I’ve never heard it before but it is so sweet. My future wife is dancing to butterfly kisses with her dad being that it’s personal to them but I’ve been considering “When you say nothing at all” by Alison Krauss & Union Station. My dad can be pretty quiet when it comes to feelings so this is just him in a nut shell.

That's a great song and is prefect that it fits how your dad is. Im the only girl amongst all boys and my dad is a little more emotional with me. He teared up when I got engaged, he teared up when he saw me in my dress and veil and he'll definitely be blubbering like a baby at my wedding. So I felt a better connection to the stealing Cinderella song.

That is a good song! I have been trying to figure out songs that aren’t overplayed as well. My dad isn’t a very emotional person so I am going to give him 3 song choices then make him pick
