Father/daughter Dance

These are what we are deciding between:

I’m torn between a few. My Old Man by Zac Brown Band; God Your Mama and Me - Florida Georgia Line / Backstreet Boys; You’ll Be In My Heart - Phil Collins / Tarzan; My Wish - Rascal Flatts.

I chose “Moon River” by Andy Williams 🙂

I was looking at Stealing Cinderella by Chuck Wicks (my favorite princess growing up was Cinderella, and honestly she’s the Disney princess I look most like) or My Little Girl by Tim McGraw if my dad wants to do something sweet. However, given the guy he is we might do a silly dance to one of his favorite songs like Shake, Shake, Shake by KC & the Sunshine Band or Rasputin by Boney M. I’m not opposed to either!

This is a hard one! I haven't figured it out either because all the father l/daughter ones I know of make me bawl! I don't want to be a teary mess during our dance! Haha

I'm not into sappy songs. I chose "Zoe Jane" by Staind. 😭❤🤟

My dad thought long and hard before deciding on Billy Joel's "She's Got a Way." Every time I hear it now I cry! It is so sentimental and sweet!

I think I've finally decided on "Isn't She Lovely," by Stevie Wonder, for the father/daughter dance with my Stepfather... he's only been in my life for like 7 years... but my mom was very adamant about us dancing... Then for my father/daughter dance with my godfather, who will be walking me down the aisle, I'm trying to do an instrumental version of "Pure Imagination," from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Both men are important to me, but we don't really have any musical connections, so this was and still is a tough decision.

Daddy Dance With Me by Krystal Keith is a pretty song. I didn’t choose it because I decided to go with a Spanish one

I used Daddy Dance with Me by Krystal Keith for my bio dad and Daddy's Angel by Tony Carter for my step-dad (he always called me Angelface so I thought it was fitting)

I'm thinking of going with Father and Daughter by Paul Simon. No romantic undertones there!

I should have mentioned I’m not into country music at all. But, what I was thinking was tiny dancer by Elton John. My dad used to play it for me all the time and he used to take me to dance class every week. Even put my makeup on for recitals. So I thought it would be sentimental but I don’t know if it’s appropriate.

I'm doing Lullaby by Billy Joel for my father/daughter dance, but growing up we listened to a lot of his music so it has extra meaning to us (or at least to me).

We did Frank Sinatra's version of "The Way You Look Tonight". It was upbeat and classic. Sappy would not have been appropriate, that is just not who my dad is.
