Father/daughter Dance

How wonderful your father is that is how my fh is to my kids my oldest two have sperm donor my loving fiancé has stepped up to the plate willingly and is my kids dad I don't think he knows the gratitude I have for him

I know I’m definitely going to cry at the father daughter dance 💃

Oh my dad was so proud of his daddy-daughter dance with me! I did NOT cry. He sang to me a little, mentioned how tall my old boss was... He's very random and hilarious! Oh we had such fun!

My father has been the King of my life! And now I have a new King he said he’s a little sad to see his baby girl go! I’m not sure I’ll make it through our dance without messing up my makeup lol

I totally understand. My dad was my rock and best friend my whole life and I think I cried more with my dad than with my husband haha.

I’ll likely cry as well! I’m doing a first look with my dad before the wedding, and I’m SO looking forward to that! We are dancing to I Loved Her First by Heartland, but I’m surprising him halfway through the song and changing to Steppenwolf’s Born to be Wild. Growing up, whenever that song came on, we would bust out singing it, or even call the other if we weren’t together. It’s just a really special song that I know will make him laugh during our dance.

A lady I work with (who I’ll say lovingly refers to me as her “work daughter”and she’s like another mom to me) talked to her nephew, who is an ordained minister and he said that he’ll do it which the whole thing got me thinking and I’ve decided to show my appreciation for this special coworker of mine by making up a gift basket of some of her favorite things along with a card saying how glad I am that she’s in my life and how much I appreciate her and everything she does and how she’s always been there for me ever since she trained me on a machine at our workplace (she and her fiancé have made everyone between two campsites, theirs plus everyone on my mom and dad’s campsite plus me and my man, waffles with homemade blueberry sauce for one of the breakfasts.)

I'm doing a first look with my dad as well, but I'm also doing it with my mom as well. Doing them both at the same time. 'Cause I have a special relationship with my parents. Let's just say I'm my dad's hunting partner for life (nothing like a daddy and daughter as hunting partners) and my mom and I have that relationship where we mainly pick on each other. I am also doing something special for my mom, given that she's currently going through chemo for her second round of breast cancer. I put together a bunch of little pink cancer ribbons for not only everybody in the bridal party, but for the guests as well. Kind of a surprise for my mom (also I'm putting together a photo album/video compromised of different pics throughout the years, starting with a pic of her and my grandpa on the day she married my dad, which I didn't realize was one of her favorite pics until she said something about it after the fact and I just kept my mouth shut 'cause the photo album is a surprise).
