@Melissa, while I love Stevie Nicks, I feel like this song is too depressing for the occasion considering it's about her mother dying.

I never realized it was about her mother dying. I've always loved the song and my dad is a Stevie Nicks fan. I was at a wedding once and it was the father/daughter dance! Well, let's see if I can come up with another 'great' idea!! LOL

Haha no worries, I didn't know either until recently. My SO is a huge Stevie fan and we were listening to it on vinyl one day and he told me the story behind it lol

However, I really like the Tom Petty suggestion! Dad and I used to listen to Tom all the time when I was little!

We are dancing to Love Me Tender because my dad loves Elvis You can always find a softer version of a classic rock song too. My mom and brother danced to a remake of Simple Man by Shinedown that was much more appropriate for their dance than the original.

My dad has had 'With Arms Wide Open' with Creed picked out since I was a little girl!

I'm walking down the aisle to "In My Life" by the Beatles in memory of my dad. It would make a great father-daughter dance song as well!
