Father/Daughter dance with Dad and Stepdad... need song help.

L + A, on March 19, 2015 at 3:47 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 6

I have been all over WW, TK, Google, etc for a song that I could use for my dad and stepdad. I want to be able to do 1 song for both of them and have one cut in halfway. It's probably been the biggest struggle I have.

I want to have a not sappy song, because my dad will cry and my stepdad and I act more like friends and not a stepdad-stepdaughter relationship. They both like classic rock, and hard rock. Thoughts??

I had a hard time picking one for my stepdad and I. Two that I suggested were "Wildflowers" by Tom Petty and "Landslide" by Fleetwood Mac. Could work in this case.

He wound up picking a more sappy one (My Wish by Rascall Flatts), but I let him have his moment. Lol

Haha Staci, you're braver than I! Amanda, I don't think I've heard of that song before-I'll have to listen to it! Thank you!

We are doing a parent dance to Landslide! But it's a cover by Boyce Avenue.

Alyssa, parent dance? Are you and your FH dancing with your respective parents together?
