Father/daughter dance resolved!

Hello, lovelies! I posted a couple days ago about being nervous about asking my dad about doing a father/daughter dance because we don't come from an emotional family/he's a tough guy. Anyway, a lot of people reponded positively saying I would never know unless I asked so I brought it up tonight. He was really kind about it and said whatever I wanted to do was fine. Long story short, it means a lot to me and I may not have asked without you amazing people on here so thank you. I'm thinking "Landslide" by Smashing Pumpkins as it's different, may cut it short but regardless thanks for giving me the courage to ask, friends, I appreciate it and just wanted to share.

That is awesome! I'm glad you did it, I'd hate to live with possible regret for not putting myself out there! Who knows, you may not usually be emotional, but your wedding could bring a different side out of him!

Perfect!!! I am glad it all worked out. It'll be a special moment. I am also thinking landslide for my dance with my Dad. He actually brought up the dance and said he wants to take dance lessons. It was really sweet.

My dad was the same way, I say "was" because he joked if I did it had to be slow since he "can't dance" and is also a tough guy type. Well, I picked "I loved her first" by Heartland and he was a crying mess so you never know lol
