Father/daughter Dance, Mother/groom Dance

I'm letting my dad and FMIL pick the songs they wish to dance with us to during the wedding.

For me this could be dangerous as my dad's music taste ranges from 5 Finger Death Punch to Snoop Dogg with a little bit of Tony Bennet thrown in, so I'm sure it will be a nice surprise, but I'm so sick of making decisions I've left it in his hands.

My FH doesn't want to do a mother/son dance, but I asked if he could, because I want a father daughter dance and know his mom will throw a fit if she doesn't get one and I don't want to put up with it, so he decided his mom will also pick their song. His brother danced with his mom to a song his father wrote him when he was born, so we'll see if his dad writes another lol

My dad and I are dancing to "Something Beautiful" by Newsboys. My dad picked it because of the lyrics "It's a child on her wedding day, it's the daddy that gives her away, something beautiful." My plan was for us both to pick some options and then decide together which song to use, but he just got so excited about this one and had already started choreographing it in his head. For me, the dance is about a special moment between my dad and I. If he's this excited about it, well, I'm not going to steal his thunder. I'm just happy to have a moment for just the two of us.

As for my FH and the mother/son dance... they may not have one. They have a great relationship, but he can't dance to save his life and I don't think his mom really likes dancing. They might do something just so they have a moment, but I also wouldn't be surprised if they just decide to skip it.
