Father of the bride tie

They don't have to be the same. Our bridesmen are wearing bow ties and my stepdad (who is walking me down the aisle) is wearing a regular tie in the same color.

Its a very specific tie. Our wedding is Disney themed. The guys are wearing silver haunted mansion ties. The Disney store online sold out before I had the chance to order one for my dad.

I wouldn't worry another second about it. Find another tie for him that compliments the colors in the groomsmen's ties and call it a day.

My dad and brother will be in different ties then the wedding party.

Our dad for my sisters wedding is definitely not wearing the same tie as the groomsmen. He’s wearing a Mickey tie. My sister is having a Disney themed wedding. We are just going to get him a new one before the wedding if we can find one in a blue color to match the colors of the wedding.

No. neither of our dads had ties that matched with the groomsmen. my dad and brother did get matching ties to each other though and they did go with my wedding colors overall.
