Father of the bride suit

My groomsmen wore navy suits with burgundy ties ... my husband wore a navy suit w a grey vest ( instead of the blue ) and a burgundy tie .. and my dad and the navy suit navy vest and navy tie to make it a little different ... also the navy ties matched my mothers dress better then the burgundy l

I'm having my dad wear the same color suit just a different tie.

My dad & brother (both are walking me down the aisle) will be wearing the same thing as the groomsmen: tan vests, white button up, and dark jeans. My FH will be wearing this as well, except his vest will be a lighter tan in order to distinguish him as the groom.

My dad will be wearing the same thing as the groomsmen! They will all be wearing dove gray suits with blue vest and if I ever decide on a tie color the same tie.

Traditionally yes, the father of the bride would wear the same color as the theme or bridesmaids dresses as he is party of the "bridal" party.

But long gone are the days that everything needs to *exactly* match.

When we took the dads shopping, we showed them a couple of options that would work with our palette and them pick out what they wanted.
