Father Of the Bride Attire

My brother and my dad coordinated outfits and matched but I don't think they father's need to wear the same thing as groomsmen

My dad is wearing the same thing as the groomsmen! Not all fathers do that, though.

My husband is in the middle (in the same tux the groomsmen wore, just a different tie), my dad is on right and my father in law is on the left. I just told them to wear any suit they felt best in, and we gifted the dad's ties to go with our blue scheme.

You can do it however you want. The parents on both sides are all wearing different attire. The groomsmen will be wearing light gray and white. My dad is wearing a blue suit and FH's dad will probably wear medium to dark gray. The only people that will coordinate in our wedding will be the actual wedding party. I told our moms to wear whatever makes them feel good.

They definitely don’t have to match, I’d just say make sure they’re not wearing a color that would clash with your color scheme. My FIL is a super casual person and didn’t even wear a tie, I’m shocked we got him into a suit at all lol

I just told my dad to wear a suit, as he asked (he wears them every day for work so nothing new to buy). I haven’t a clue what my step mom or fmil are wearing.

My Dad and FIL both wore the same as H and his groomsmen. Dad I asked to. FIL just assumed or wanted to match, I don’t know.
