Father-daughter song suggestions!!

I really love country music and originally wanted a country song. However, my older sister used my favorite one by Tim McGraw "My little girl." Aside from "I loved her first" I am not a fan of other country father songs.

Does anyone have suggestions for other great songs to take a look at?

    My dad and I danced to "Father and Daughter" by Paul Simon.

    ETA: It's not country but it's a nice song, not too slow.

    Does your dad have a favorite artist / genre? I love country music as well but my dad loves Frank Sinatra so we're going to dance to one of his songs. You can always ask your dad (although most dads like to give the "whatever you want" answer hahaha)

    Do something personal. If there is a song you associate with him, or if he has a favorite song or band, go with that. It doesn't have to be a 'message' song.

    Best father/daughter dance I ever did, we played his favorite song, "Elvira" by the Oakridge Boys.

    I really like "I loved her first" but it completely represents my Father and my relationship, it also describes to a T the first time he met my FH. Another song I considered was "The girl you think I am" by Carrie Underwood - it's a little more up beat though. What kind of music does your dad listen too? You don't have to pick a country song.

    -@DAK that's one of my favorite songs. I want that to be my first dance song. It FH HATES George Strait. It's was always my dream to use it.

    As for father/daughter. I'm dancing with my step father to "My Wish" by Rascall Flatts. My stepfather never heard it but the lyrics are quite fitting to our relationship!

    My dad and I are dancing to Daddy's Hands by Holly Dunn. Daddies and Daughters by Kevin Fowler was a close second.
