There's a super adorable version of "Hush Little Baby" by Bobby McFerrin that we used. Sort of a reggae feel. Dad used to sing it to me when I was little, so it was perfect.

If you want to go oldies, Al Martino did Daddy's Little Girl in the 50's. If you want to go newer, Zoe Jane by Staind.

FYI- Landslide isn't about a father daughter relationship. It's more about Lindsey than her dad (even though in the live version she says this is for you daddy).

My dad and I danced to Guns N'Roses "Sweet Child O' Mine." Not a slow cover of it. The actual one.

The Beatles - In My Life

Beach Boys - God Only Knows

We are going with Amos Lee - Sweet Pea. Not classic rock, but also not country.

Going with In My Life by The Beatles. My sister used Circle of Life by Elton John, not classic rock, but pretty! Lullaby by Billy Joel is very sweet too.

@MiniMe- Yes I know Lindsey is a guy. Stevie Nicks wrote it about her relationship with Lindsey. While I agree that a song does not have to be specifically about a parent-child relationship, when it was written she was not in a good point in her relationship with him (from what has been written in interviews)
