Hi all! I want to play “First Man” for the father daughter dance, which my dad doesn’t probably know and wanted to surprise him with the lyrics. However do you think it should be a surprise or no??

I wouldn't keep it a surprise but I would pick a song that we both love. Your idea sounds super sweet but he might not have the reaction you expect.

I’m not telling my dad either, and he hasn’t heard the song. I think it’s fine, but yes he might not react at all if you’re expecting him to really respond to the lyrics that you love.
