Father daughter dance

Stefanie, on August 19, 2021 at 9:46 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 4
Are you all doing a father daughter dance? This is my second wedding so I am not sure I want to do it but am trying to figure out other things to do instead. Any ideas?

Hi Stefanie! Certainly if you want to dance with your dad, I say go for it! Increase the special moments for your life as we don’t get many of them ❤️

This is my second wedding as well, I didn't have a father/daughter dance at my first wedding, due to time constraint and my ex mother in law rushing the agenda, so I am this time.

I am. But I'm not having anyone walk me down the aisle, so having the dance is a compromise. It's my first wedding but I'm in my forties and really don't like the idea of anyone giving me away. I actually have 2 dads but the dance would be more special to my dad. My FH has a daughter, so they will also dance during the song. And I'm going to ask my stepdad if he will dance with my daughter. It's not conventional, but we're just making it an all around father-daughter dance. We're thinking about having the mc call up so fathers and daughters to join halfway through the song... Still thinking about that though.

I did and it was and still is one of the highlights of the wedding according to guests😄. I did not expect it to be fun but it was really fun and I would do it again. My dad also enjoyed it so it was a win win!!
