So I thought I had it figured out. Johnny cash "bridge over troubled water". Mom told me it was incredibly depressing. I thought she was being too critical so asked others for advice and they all agreed. Even my fiance kept saying not to listen to her then listened to the song himself and afterwards started looking up other options lol. Anyway now I'm trying to find an oldie (dad really enjoys) trying hard not to pick the usual and he is not a fan of the Beatles. Only thing I like so far is "reach out" by the four tops but it's pretty fast and we don't have a lot of moves. Any suggestions out there??

"Unforgettable" by Nat king Cole, "Isn't she lovely" by Stevie Wonder and "you are my sunshine" Johnie Cash version. Or ask your dad for suggestions. I hope this helped.

What about "The Way You Look Tonight" by Frank Sinatra? I actually just mentioned on another thread that I will be dancing to "Unforgettable" by Nat King Cole and Natalie Cole with my mom, which is a beautiful song (sung by a father and daughter), and that might work well for you

Why not do Bridge Over Troubled Water by Simon & Garfunkel, or another cover other than Johnny Cash's? It's a beautiful song about friendship that most people like, of course the only issue might be that it's quite long.

Why not ask your dad?
