Father Daughter Dance Songs

My dad and I are dancing to Butterfly Kisses. I danced to it in my very first ballet recital and there's a verse that talks about him walking her down the aisle and giving her away. I cry.

After weeks of searching I found a song called "Father and Daughter" by Paul Simon. I wanted something different that wasn't Country. Also there's a line in there that talks about fishing, which is somthing special my dad and I did alot growing up.

We're doing "You are so Beautiful" by Joe Cocker. My dad loves to sing it to my mom and me, and has for years.

Date Twin! My dad and I are dancing to "Daddy Dance With Me" by Krsytal Keith.

I chose "Walk With You" by Edwin McCain because my dad and I went to go see him at free concert in Copley Square in Boston back in 2001 and that was one of the few times we did anything where it was just the two of us so his music has a special place in my heart. I'm just worried I'm doing to bawl like a baby when we're dancing. It's a beautiful song if you've never heard it.

We're dancing to "La Vie en Rose" by Edith Piaf. My dad's family is French and this is a family favorite.
