Father daughter dance song

My stepdad and I danced to "She's a Rainbow" by the Rolling Stones. I dance with my dad to "While You Dance" by Reid Michaels, which I don't think was country.

Are there any songs that have a special meaning to the two of you that are outside of the "Dad/Daughter" theme? I always like hearing a song that has some special significance to the people dancing.

We're going to go with "Cinderella" by Steven Curtis Chapman. It's been a special song for my dad and I since it came out when I was in high school.

My friend and her dad have a special bond over John Mayer, so they'll likely be dancing to one of his songs. If there's something you both like, I'd go with that, even if it's not a 'typical' father daughter dance song.

That's what we're doing! I got a lot of my musical tastes from my dad and he wants to do something fun and choreographed, so we're for sure using "In The Mood" by Glenn Miller and he wants "Uptown Funk," but we're still planning on more for a mashup.
