Father Daughter Dance Mother Son Dance

My father passed away a couple years ago so I'm doing Because you loved me with my mom!

I wanted to do My wish by Rascal Flatts with my brother but he isn't going.. Still love the song though!

Dad and I are dancing to I loved her first by Heartland - I know it's a very common song but I love the lyrics and remember hearing it for the first time in the car with my dad when I was a younger and we both knew that would be the song we would dance to at my wedding...

FH and his mom are dancing to My wish by Rascal Flatts - another common one but it's what his mom picked. Ironically he is not a country fan but the lyrics are meaningful.

My Dad and I are dancing too My Little Girl - Tim McGraw ! This song came out right after I left for school when I was 18. It's been our song since, at his wedding we were supposed to dance to it.. but the DJ didn't play the songs my dad had on his music list.

My dad and I are dancing to "The Wind Beneath My Wings" by Bette Midler... bc he is truly the wind beneath my wings. Oh gosh, I cry thinking about.

FH has yet to decide what to dance to with his mother.

We also did I Loved Her First by Heartland for the father/daughter dance. H and his mom danced to Forever Young by Rod Stewart. There were definitely tears!

It was so sweet…at the end of the song my dad walked over and grabbed my husband and put us together to dance to the song and walked off the floor. I have tears thinking about it. There’s a video and I’m like “dad what are you doing….”

We did "My daughter is a bride" and they did "The Fan" by the BSB. He hated that it was by them but it's a great not too mushy song.

My daddy daughter song is "Daddy's Angel" by T Carter. It does make me tear up but i figure on that day ill be a sobbing mess by the time i get to the dance anyway so it wont matter.

We still havent picked one for the mother-son dance yet.

I'm dancing to "Cinderella" by Steven Curtis Chapman with my dad. He told me that when he heard it He just instantly thought of me and my sisters. I'm dancing with FH son (who's 3) to "That's what mama's do". I'm going to back like a baby.

We did "In My Life" by the Beatles. Since it's gender neutral we were all able to dance at once (Father/daughter, mother/son) which made my MIL more comfortable.
