Father-daughter dance alternatives

Stefanie, on July 8, 2020 at 9:18 AM Posted in Planning 0 4
My wedding is coming up very soon and I am looking for a father-daughter dance alternative. My dad is a disabled vetetan and doesnt have very good balance. He is worried he may fall. What are some alternatives?

Note: I don't have children or siblings to dance with.

If you’re having a DJ, you could do some sort of video slideshow of you and your dad throughout the years and you could play the song that you would’ve wanted to dance with him too as the slideshow music.

A slideshow is still possible without a DJ. I’ve researched this a bit and a speech or toast from the bride about her dad is also a popular alternative.

Maybe you can sing karaoke like your favorite song or song you would like to have danced to with your dad. Something else that you both love to do?? Since we're skipping parent dances, my alternative with my dad is recite a collaboration poetry piece. We both write and I think it's a nice personal touch to still have him included. Good luck!
