Father Daughter Dance Alternatives

900 years old?? I'm assuming that is supposed to be 90? You can totally do a dance with him in a chair, that would be really cute.

Dance with him in the chair. Or if you don't like that maybe invite any dad/daughters to come up to the floor and dedicate it to your grandfather.

Lol @ 900 years old! I'm sure he is NOT, but I just had this same question a couple days ago since my father is disabled. I'll be following to get ideas!

Is your family particularly religious? When my cousin got married she invited my grandfather up to the altar during the ceremony to pray over her and her future husband.

Look on Youtube for father/daughter and mother/son wheelchair dances. So very possible and so very touching.

I'm not a fan of slidevshows...but in this case I think it would be lovely. Perhaps you could stand or sit with him as a slide show of special pictures played to your song of choice.

When my grandma had cancer and could only sit, my cousin and his now wife did a grandparent dance and she danced with my grandpa and he laid in the chair with my grandma and they just hugged and talked. It was very sweet and she enjoyed it.

My MIL danced with her dad who is also in a power chair. She sat in his lap and they wheeled around the dance floor. Everyone was crying, it was so sweet.
