Father and daughter songs for people with a complicated past

My father and I are in a much better place now. In fact, he’s now walking me down the aisle when just last year I wasn’t going to have either of my parents attend due to longstanding issues. Anyways, we’re a lot better now as I’m obviously now able to do this whole dance with him and have both my parents attend. However, I just don’t relate to any songs out there. I grew up thousands of miles from my dad and didn’t experience all those things they talk about in the father daughter songs.


Do you guys have any idea what song we can dance to? Maybe something that has a more vague meaning? I thought about dancing to “Somewhere Ober the Rainbow” but I’d still love to hear some other options. Also, please make sure the lyrics aren’t talking about a lover. I’ve had people suggest songs to me that clearly had lover innuendos and I don’t want that lol! Thanks everyone!
