Did anyone use the Farmers Almanac to look at weather predictions for your wedding? Was it correct?

I dont think anything with weather is 100% accurate. We started checking at the 15 day mark. We ranged anywhere from Sunny and 75 to scatter showers to periods of rain. It was rainy ALL day and like 65.

Our weather report wasn't even accurate the morning of... so I probably wouldn't trust anything making predictions for next April

We didn't check Farmer's Almanac, but we checked other places for any indication, including weather reports as we got closer. They all said sunny. One said partly cloudy.

    This is what happened.

Lol I'm glad I'm not the only one that's stressing about the weather in advance.

You can't control the weather. The last week of March was sunny and 70 degrees here. The week leading up to our wedding was a total washout. It was mostly sunny on our wedding day, but only 50 degrees and windy.

Have your wedding when you want. Just make sure you have a plan if it's raining, windy, or unseasonably hot/cold!

No, I trusted that mother nature was going to do whatever she damn well pleases and anything I did to freak out about it wasn't going to make a difference. So we chose a place that has both indoor and outdoor accommodations as needed.

Thyla, no, it was all indoors. We did our first look outside though and got some awesome snow photos.

OP, can I just say that I love that you're so much of a planner that you're even thinking about this? Makes me happy that there are others out there! Smiley smile

Seriously? There is nothing you can do about it but have plan B firmly in place.

No! You seriously will have 0 idea of the weather until at least 10 days out. I have checked accuweather just for fun all the way up until now- the temp range even over the past 10 days has ranged 17 degrees and has at times been rainy, stormy, clear, and hot. I'm gonna wait until a week out to think about getting backups (tent over ceremony space since it's open, umbrellas on site, etc) if if even has a chance of rain
