I'm having a hard time with my mother during our wedding planning. She constantly tears down any ideas I have for my own wedding. Saying that there are cheaper options for everything. Like trading bridesmaid bouquets for them just a single flower a piece......i am still getting everything that i need at a relatively cheaper price. I can comfortably pay for everything on my own and haven't asked anyone for a time.

I am also having troubles with my sister (who is a bridesmaid) when it comes to her dress. Im wanting long flowy dresses with little to no sleeves. I'm getting married in July and I figured that would be a coolest option. She's completely against it but the short dresses just dont look right in my opinion for a wedding.
Anyone have any advice?

Your mom doesn't need to know the cost of things and if she can't keep her opinion to herself then quit involving her in the wedding planning process.
Tell your sister that she can either get on board with your request or she is welcome to attend as a guest.

Agreed with a ton of comments, at the end of the day it is your day and your vision. Your sister can either get on board with your vision or attend as a guest. I agree with the long I'm having a sleeved dress long with a slit it's an a line and I'm in love. At the end of the day it's Your Day, I get your mom is trying to help you save money but it's your money to spend unless she is paying she can shut it.
