Hey y’all! I’m a month and a half out from my wedding *cue freakout* and I’m wondering ...did you guys have any framed pictures at your wedding reception on display? If so what pictures did you do? (Ex. You with parents/grandparents, pics from your parents/grandparents weddings, your engagement pictures, ect.). This is definitely something I’d like to do but can’t decide what types of pictures I should have printed and framed.

Also any tips for things I should be thinking about and getting together at a month out would be greatly appreciated!! I always feel like I’m forgetting things lol

The only pictures I’ve ever seen displayed at a wedding were the couples engagement pictures or pictures of deceased loved ones who couldn’t be there. But hey, it’s your day! if you guys want to display photos, and you can display anything you like Smiley smile

    Congratulations!!!

We are planning to have pictures of FH’s parents, grandparents (grandma is in hospice care and can’t come), and my grandpa, who are all no longer with us. The only other pictures I’ve seen at a wedding were engagement pictures, but there’s no reason you can’t include what you want. I would just think about space and equally representing both families.

I have a grandparents collage since they’re all deceased, with us as kids with them. Also have a large framed bridal portrait, three 8x10 engagement photos.

My parents are divorced so I didn't do the parents wedding photos, but we will have a "in loving memory" table with framed photos of passed loved ones. We will have photos of my FH and I displayed hanging from twine with small cloths pins wrapped around trees at the venue.

We took one of our engagement pictures and blew it up on a canvas for the entrance of our venue! We may have pictures of us at the tables or around the food table, but not too many.

We had one of our engagement photos printed on canvas for the table with our escort cards. We also had our engagement photos printed in a photo book for our guest book.

We found old family photos of those who had passed - grandparents, etc. Our venue had a little recessed set of shelves, where those could be displayed, without being at risk or too central.

Love this!! I did two photo tables, one of In Memory and childhood photos of my new husband and I at same ages (ex: baby, toddler, grade school, high school) and in the center had an engagement photo of us together as adults. Got frames at Homegoods and Walmart in similar colors and went to a local printer who made copies and adjusted sizes to fit frames. I brought the frames with me so sizes were easy to check. Hope this helps!!!
