Family photos with new stepkids

Carly, on April 30, 2024 at 12:04 PM Posted in Family and Relationships 0 3
My fiancé has 2 kids (17&19) and they’re both in the wedding party as well.
I’m planning out my family photo list. Should I include his kids in my immediate and extended family photos?

They are your immediate family, so I would say yes.

They will be your immediate family, so yes. But that doesn’t mean you can’t have some adult only photos also! Feel free to create a list of group photos you would like your photographer to capture. There is nothing wrong with having a photo of just you, your parents and your siblings. There is also nothing wrong with having a photo of just you, your spouse, and his parents. But then immediately following that, I would make sure you added the kids to the photos with his family. Definitely make the kids feel included, but don’t feel like they have to be in every single photo.
