Family craziness

I moved in with my fiancé and my mom definitely had empty nesters syndrome. Have a family talk and make sure that’s what is truly bothering them. You don’t want any bad vibes at your wedding.

I was already living with my now husband for 4 years and accordingly to my sisters who live at home, my dad still got weird around my wedding. Their little girl is growing up and getting married! Men especially aren’t typically good with emotions. Even my in laws began to fear we wouldn’t see them as often, so they asked if we can do a monthly game night to make sure we still come around (as if we wouldn’t). Try to make time for a lunch or have a conversation that you’re not going to disappear and talk out what’s bothering them.

I agrre, with you live with your parents it can be like a grieving process. I would try to talk with them and listen to they feel.


Sorry you have to deal with this a few days before your wedding.
